Ability Maquinaria y Medioambiente: environmentally aware

Ability Maquinaria y Medioambiente is a company highly conscious of the need to take care of the environment, of sustainability, recycling and reutilisation of materials, in addition to circular economy.
Our strong commitment makes us be up to date on all the protocols and requirements that must be met with regard to both the machinery we distribute and the counselling we offer regarding the design, functionality and regulations of your facilities.
We work for companies focused on, in many cases, areas such as recycling and reutilisation and, consequently, our commitment should meet our customers' needs. This forces us to learn and apply all the current regulations as they get published and updated by the different public administrations and organisms, European and national as well as regional and provincial.
Recently, the directive ammending the directive 2010/75 EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated on the24th of November 2010, regarding industrial emissions (integrated pollution prevention and control) and directive 1999/31/31 CE of the Council, 26 th of April 1999 on the landill of waste, were published in the Official Journal of the EU.
The ammendments introduced in the abovementioned directive aim at offering enhanced protection of both environment and human health by reducing the harmful emissions of industrial facilities, promoting energy efficiency, circular economy and decarbonisation. At Ability Maquinaria y Medioambiente we commit to meeting all these requirements.
Among the substantial changes introduced by this directive, the incorporation of some mining activities should be highlighted. These mining activities, included in the scope of application of the above mentioned directive and reflected in Annex I, are limited to those with a significant impact on the environment in accordance with a comprehensive list of processes drawn up by the Comission by means of a delegated act.
This is the text reflected in Annex I point 3,6: “ Mining, including in situ operations such as crushing, size control, benefit and enrichment of the followig minerals on an industrial scale, bauxite, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, lithium, manganese, nickel, palladium, platinum, tin, tungsten and zinc.”
In Ability Maquinaria y Mediomabiente we match the needs of each of our customers and, with that in mind, we commit to keeping up to date on all regulatory developments.
