Introducing the II Concrete Congress

Organised by ANEFHOP (the Spanish National Association of Ready - Mix Concrete Manufacturers), the II Concrete Congress will bring together more than 600 professionals from across Spain on 12 and 13 May 2027 in Granada.
The event will examine how sustainability, digitalisation and evolving regulations impact on the competitiveness of an industry directly linked to construction investment.
The II Concrete Congress, organised by the Spanish National Association of Ready - Mix Concrete Manufacturers (ANEFHOP), will take place on 12 and 13 May 2027 at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada, consolidating its position as Spain’s leading professional and technical forum dedicated exclusively to the concrete sector.
The announcement was made at a press conference attended by institutional and industry representatives, where the Congress’s national scope and its role as a key reference point for addressing the current and future challenges that the concrete industry faces were high lighted.
This second edition follows the success of the first Congress, held in Zaragoza in June 2024, which brought together more than 600 professionals from across Spain, along with representatives from companies, public administrations, research centres and universities. That first event confirmed the need for a permanent forum enabling the sector to jointly analyse key issues such as sustainability, innovation, digitalisation, regulation and the people behind it.
According to ANEFHOP, the II Concrete Congress reinforces a national business forum closely linked to trends in construction, housing and infrastructure investment. The association notes that the concrete sector is at a pivotal moment to continue investing in sustainability, innovation and digitalisation while ensuring profitability. The Congressen ables companies to tackle these challenges in a coordinated way, with a direct impact on efficiency, costs and productive capacity.
The Association currently brings together more than 350 member companies and collaborators. It acts as the sector’s interlocutor with public administrations, working on areas such as quality, sustainability, safety and technological modernisation — all keyfactors for industrial competitiveness.
Over two days, the II Concrete Congress will combine technical sessions and round tables with an integrated trade exhibition and an outdoor area showcasing machinery and industrial solutions, establishing itself as both a meeting point for the industry and a strategic space for analysing the future of the concrete sector.
